The System Sensor DNRW is an intelligent addressable photoelectric duct smoke detector housing from the InnovairFlex series designed for monitoring smoke within HVAC duct systems. It detects smoke moving through air handling ducts and communicates alarm or trouble conditions to a compatible fire alarm control panel via the signaling loop.
The detector housing uses integrated low-flow technology and plug-in sampling tubes to support reliable smoke detection across a wide airflow range. The DNRW version includes a watertight, UV-resistant NEMA Type 4 housing, allowing installation in outdoor or harsh environments without requiring a separate protective enclosure.
The adjustable housing design accommodates both square and rectangular duct mounting configurations and supports tool-free installation of sampling tubes. The unit also includes cover tamper monitoring, remote testing capability, and space for optional relay modules or accessories to meet application requirements. The detector head is ordered separately.
