The Cerberus Pyrotronics’ Thermal Fire Detectors are of the rate compensation/fixed temperature type and are designed for use with either standard Cerberus Pyrotronics’ systems or other commercially available fire alarm systems. In all models the detector element is self-restoring after operation and is supplied in ratings of 135°F and 200°F.
Underwriter’s Laboratories, Inc. recommends the Thermal Detector be used to protect a maximum of 2,500 square feet. Job conditions and engineering judgement, however, often dictate closer spacing to provide faster detection.
