Frame rate is a count of how many images are shown per second during video playback. A higher frame rate will result in smoother motion in the image.

Lens & Field of View
The lends determines the viewing angle and how far the camera can see clearly. Consider ffixed, varifocal (adjustable manual zoom/focus), or pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) lenses based on coverage needs.

IP Rating
If you are installing cameras outdoors, ensure the cameras have an appropriate IP rating, indicating resistance to dust and water. Higher IP ratings mean the device is more resistant to external conditions.

Power Over Ethernet (POE)
This feature simplifies installation by transmitting both power and data over a single Ethernet cable to an IP camera. Ensure that both your camera and switch supports POE.
