What is Robotic Fire Watch?

The Robotic Fire Watch System (RFW) is a rapidly deployable, portable, independent fire detection system that monitors flammable, explosive, and high‐value hazards in fire‐susceptible and post “hot work” areas. “Hot work” includes drilling, cutting, grinding, welding, soldering, burning, melting of flammable substances, and other spark‐producing activities. This system houses the NFPA 72-compliant alarm panel and video server in a water and fire-resistant enclosure. Subsequently, the device may be deployed to meet compliance standards during new building construction when fire detection systems have yet to be installed, or when fire protection systems are impaired or disabled.

Also included are a horn/strobe, alarm, and trouble relay dry contacts for monitoring by building fire alarm systems or other interfaces and an Ethernet connection for live video and alarm monitoring. The Fire Watch includes one or two Fike multi-spectrum infrared (IR3) flame detectors with or without onboard ONVIF HD video cameras and video analytics smoke detection.
