Description
These Local Operating Consoles (LOCs) are designed for use at alternate fire command stations, security desks, nurse stations, or other areas where public messages may be issued during an emergency. The LOCs are available as a basic unit or with a remote display, and both enclosures include a paging control card and microphone to alert persons in the event of an emergency.* The LOCs require 24 Vdc operating power from either the CyberCat® panel or from a battery-backed, regulated, power-limited power supply listed for Fire Protection Signaling Use; command and control are automatically activated via the CyberCat panel’s RS485 peripheral bus. LED lights accompanying each switch provide the status of each executed function. When equipped with the remote display unit (RDU), the console mimics the host control panel and conveys up-to-date fire alarm system statusfor customer awareness and peace of mind.
