Description
The Remote Releasing Module (RRM) is a SmartOne® field device connected to the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) of a Kidde intelligent control unit operating SmartOne communications protocol to provide the ability to remotely activate extinguishing-system control devices.
On a Kidde single-loop control unit, up to 16 RRMs can be configured for simultaneous group activation, with a maximum of 4 groups (64 RRMs per control unit). On a Kidde multi-loop control unit, up to 20 RRMs can be configured for simultaneous group activation, with a maximum of 7 groups (140 RRMs per control unit). RRMs within the same group activate at the same time; groups activate in consecutive order.
