Advanced SGX-32SK2

Description

The SGX-32 Series is a high-quality, die-cast metal manual alarm station, UL Listed and Factory Mutual Approved for use in hazardous locations (explosion-proof). Special SGX-32 models contain enhanced component features that allow the SGX-32 station to operate reliably within the uniquely difficult environs found in transportation tunnels. The SGX-32 is approved for use in Class I, Division I, Groups B, C and D; Class II, Division I, Groups E, F and G and Class III.

The station enclosure is approved for indoor and outdoor use, NEMA 4X applications and is Marine rated. All models in the series have been designed specifically for compliance with all applicable ADA requirements (Americans with Disabilities Act; 28 CFR Part 36). SGX-32 stations can be operated with a single hand without tight grasping, pinching or twisting of the wrist. The force required to operate the station has been tested by Underwriter’s Labs for compliance with the 5 lb pull force. When properly installed, SGX-32 Series will protrude less than 4 inches into halls, corridors, etc. no matter the height at which it is installed.

SGX-32 is available in either single (SGX-32SK2) or dual (SGX-32SK1) action configurations. Station alarm contacts are DPDT, rated 10 amps @ 125 VAC and 1 amp @ 30 VDC. The alarm contacts are gold plated for corrosion resistance. Each SGX-32 is configured with terminal connections and a key reset.

For unique hazard protection, the SGX-32 is available in custom color options; blue, yellow or green. Custom colors provide distinct station identification for use in equipment shutdown, medical aid, fire suppression actuation and similar applications.
