ProReact linear heat detection is unique in their two-stage alarm process. ProReact programmable cables may also come with a durable stainless steel braid, which protects the cable from damage. Another important component of the ProReact lineup is the fixed activation digital interface monitor module (DIMM). ProReact’s DIMM has a wide coverage of up to 9,842 ft. per zone with improved testing and maintenance functionality with ProReact’s end of line unit. This module mitigates false alarms by using a unique interlock detection mode. To do this, it requires two zones of the linear heat detection cable to trigger before transmitting an alarm signal to the fire alarm control panel. Consequently, you can create an additional layer of protection against false alarms.
