Introduction
You can now buy our new, genuine FSP-951-IV detectors at a substantial markdown price! The detectors are a beloved series among enthusiasts and even more valued in the professional fire safety industry. They are a staple in Notifier’s photoelectric product lineup, and with their FlashScan and CLIP (Classic Loop Interface Protocol) compatibility, they function in a variety of systems. However, now that Honeywell has stopped producing the FSP-951-IV, their price has increased dramatically among many vendors and resellers. On top of this, supply is limited, so prices may go up as time goes on.
Hence, we are proud to offer our Notifier FSP-951-IV detectors at only $79.99, our lowest price yet! At this price, you’re saving over 40% compared to our regular price of $144.50, making this the best deal on the market. This decrease in price means that you can save more, while also keeping your older CLIP panels in service for longer. We have hundreds of units available, and we’re ready to meet your stringent project deadlines. Don’t wait—buy now while supplies last!
The Best of Both Worlds: Reliability and Savings with the Notifier FSP-951-IV
The FSP-951-IV uses photoelectric technology to detect the presence of smoke and sends that signal to the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP). The FACP polls the detector approximately every 6 seconds, during which it sends a report to the panel. The FSP-951-IV features a low standby power at 200 uA for one communication. Furthermore, its operating range is 15 to 32 VDC. The device can operate using either Notifier’s older CLIP or their new FlashScan protocol. As such, the FSP-951-IV has historically been more expensive than its FlashScan-only FSP-951 counterparts.
The FSP-951-IV is UL 268 7th edition listed for open air protection, UL 268A listed for duct applications, FM approved, and CSFM listed. As such, it is the ideal detector for both newer Notifier installations and for retrofits for most applications. To add, the FSP-951-IV is both forwards and backwards compatible. In other words, it functions with both the old Notifier CLIP panels, and the newer panels using FlashScan protocol. As a result, this detector provides the best of both worlds in terms of compatibility and future-proofing your installation parts. If you want to upgrade your panel, these detectors will still be relevant years down the line. Moreover, these detectors are compliant with UL 268 7th edition, meaning that they will allow you to meet the newest requirements in smoke detection.
Many businesses and structures still have older Notifier panels in place, which can only run the older CLIP protocol. It follows that many building managers have no interest in upgrading their entire system to facilitate a new detector model. Consequently, the ivory IV models are perfect for bringing new detection technologies to older panels running various protocols.
