Description

Model HMS-DP from Siemens is a Double-Action Intelligent Manual Fire Alarm Box constructed of durable, molded and polycarbonate material matte finished in red with raised white lettering containing Portuguese-only text. Used for installations in the Latin Americas, the housing is sequentially comprised of a centrally located spring-loaded push plate, followed by a pull-down lever, which, when operated, locks until the manual fire alarm box has been activated. The pull down lever remains down and locked until the manual fire alarm box is reset. Model HMS-DP is only resettable by manually opening the hinged housing cover with an Allen key and then closing and locking the cover. Model HMS-DP is programmed via use of the Programmer / Tester (Model DPU). Model HMS-DP intelligent manual fire-alarm boxes provide an advanced method of address programming and supervision, combined with sophisticated control-panel communication. Furthermore, each Model HMS-DP box achieves the state of an intelligent initiating device by incorporating custom microcomputer-chip technology with sophisticated, bi-directional communication.
